I have downladed the files for the blackberry app, but i am not able to install on my BB, can somebody help.

I already download the file on my pc, and i unzipped it but for installing the app to the BB I´ll try using the Blackberry Desktop Manager*.
..and IT WORKS!!!!!
Try using de Desktop Manager like i did… but first remember to unzip the file, after you do that, you go to de Desktop Manager*, click on Aplications, then select Import File (Importar Archivo) and select the folder, after that, select the file you´ll see there and it will appear on the Aplications so you can finally Install it.
Hope this information can help you, it worked for me.

I had no problem downloading the app on my unlocked bbtorch on t-mobile network but when I download an mp3 it says download completed with error I see the mp3 but it won’t play

i downloaded the application and installed it successfully on my 8520 but it doesn’t seem to work. whenever i try to log-in using my account it always says “connecting to 4shared web service failed.” can somebody help me sort this out?

The 4Shared app for BB uses GPRS and not BIS…. So ppl in India its billable. U will b charger-ed extra acc. to ur service provider.But its a Gr8 app. And service providers in India u suck ….

ok, i downloaded 4shared on my Blackberry Curve 8530, downloaded about 13 songs and then i get this message “connecting to 4shared web servicefailed”. ughhh so mad!!!! Well after searching to fix the problem with no such luck, i took the battery out, turned my phone back on and now its working!! Hope i could help guys!!!

Intente instalarlo en una BB Curve 8320, pero me dio error, al parecer es que no soporta mi SO, que es la version mas actual: 4.5…
Que hacer.??

I get the message – Connecting to 4shared web service failed – on my BB Curve BUT if I take out the battery, then replace and turn phone back on, it works fine. I wish I knew what settings to change to have the app connect right away! I was actually searching this forum in hopes of finding that out, and figured since I can at least get mine to work, advising those who can’t to try briefly removing the battery and then power on again. Good luck! It’s worth the time and effort to get it working. I use it everyday.

Installed on my 9780,but always got ‘Download Failed’ on about 3-4%,sometimes on 6%.But if I try download it via BB Browser,it always success.Anybody can help me with this problem?thx.

Well am using BB 9780, I upgraded the version, and since then I get error msg saying “connecting to 4shared server failed” my internet is working fine. Removing the battery and restarting does not help… I can’t even log in…
Any suggestions??

Version 1.1.9 worked great. I was asked to upgrade to 1.1.10 and I can’t login as I get the same error as everyone above: failed to connect to web server. I did a battery pull and now the error is uncaught exception but I can’t even read it since the app freezes my phone at that moment

I have downloaded the app (which was pretty easy), and I have attempted to log into my account. Its not allowing me to. On top of that the phone literally freezes on me. Please email me @ moses.caballero@sprint.blackberry.net, with some instructions or something.

Please try to specify your problem in detail. Can you log into 4shared via the website using the same credentials? What exact 4shared app do you use- 4shared desktop, 4sync or 4shared for mobile devices?
Also please try to describe step by step what you do or what you get while trying to log in.

Lo descargue y fue muy rapida la descarga y no me aparece la aplicacion en ninguna carpeta y busco en la tarjeta de memoria y si aparece pero intento abrir el archivo y dice error

4shared does not work on my blackberry at all. I downloaded the page but each time I want to download, it shows the seconds ting and does nt count. It show download will start in 20 seconds and does not move from there my pin is 238cdb64 if dis wud help I use a curv 2 8520

Please update it to use “BIS connection”
I realised that current only work thru ‘direct connection’ (TCP or wap transport) which mean we will be billed extra outside our service plan.
I repeat comrade, update it for capabilty to use BIS-B connection.
