4shared Takes Action in View of Allegations against Elephant Data
4shared.com has released the company’s public statement in view of the recent ad fraud allegations against one of the its former ad partners – Elephant Data Ltd.
According to the company’s statement, as an app developer 4shared has never been involved in any kind of fraudulent activity. More importantly, the company had not been aware of such activity from the side of Elephant Data until July 2019.
As of today, 4shared has no ongoing cooperation with Elephant Data Ltd., and in view of the published research and allegations of ad fraud against Elephant Data the company has already taken all possible measures to minimize further damage to the users of its old app, which is no longer available in Google Play.
We recommend users to uninstall the old 4shared app for Android OS as soon as possible, and install the new one – from Google Play.

Manage Music Playback in 4shared for iOS
As you know, all folders in your 4shared cloud storage that include music/audio files are displayed as playlists in the Music tab in your 4shared for iOS app.
Thus, you only need to tap the playlist to begin streaming it, in a standard, shuffle, or repeat mode.
What you may not know yet…
You can also change the track sequence for a standard playback mode – by a mere few clicks!
How to use?
1. Tap a playlist.
2. Tap a “Tracklist” icon.
3. Tap “Edit.”
4. Swipe “≡” up/down to move a track backwards or forwards within the playlist.
5. Tap “Done.”

Awesome news! We’ve enabled viewing of animated GIF files in the 4shared app for Android devices!
How to use?
It couldn’t get any easier. Just tap the file to open its preview.
Don’t have any animated GIFs in your 4shared cloud storage yet?
Use your in-app search features > just enter GIF in the search bar, then tap “Search”.
Just to remind you, lately we’ve also improved the preview of other media (e.g. music, video) in 4shared for Android.
